SUMMARY : The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the property's recruitment and hiring, employee relations, regulatory licensing, recognition and rewards programs, training, workforce performance management and ensuring that employee discipline is administered consistently and in accordance with Company procedures and more.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Responsible for the annual budget for the Human Resources Department.

2. Ensures the job compendium and salary ranges are current and competitive with the local market place.

3. Ensured the compensation program and performance appraisal process is administered according to policies and procedures.

4. Responsible for enduring the Company's web-based hiring platform is used correctly for hiring, wage increases and all other employment history transactions. Oversees unemployment claims and attends hearings as required.

5. Oversees non-union Grievance Board of Review Process.

6. Responds to Corporate HR Office for any anonymous hotline complaints.

7. Monitors leave of absence process to ensure federal and company leaves are compliant with applicable law.

8. Manages and tracks all training initiatives thru the online service and internal training programs.

9. Must be available for scheduled work and will be required to perform additional duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsible for the overall direction of the Human Resources Department, including hiring and training; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining staff, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS 

To perform this job successfully, an individual mist be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and /or ability required.

All Employees must be knowledgeable to all Company policies and procedures including fire and safety regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree required. Five or more years of relevant human resources experience in the gaming, hospitality and/or service industry, with increasing levels of responsibility and supervision (4 years minimum leadership/management experience) required

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS  

Must possess and be able to maintain the applicable regional Gaming card(s) and/or License(s), if any

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to effectively communicate in English. Must be able to read and write simple lists, interoffice memorandums, and business correspondence. Must be able to make presentations to management and front line employees.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

COMPUTER SKILLS

Candidate must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products..
