Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team. The HR Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, focusing on payroll processing, employee record maintenance, HRIS, benefits administration, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a strong understanding of HR practices and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist employees with benefits-related questions and concerns.
  • Payroll Processing and Reporting
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and labor laws.
  • Handle employee relations issues, including conflict resolution.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Conduct new hire orientations and exit interviews.
  • Support performance management processes and employee development initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an HR role.
  • ADP experience a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, labor laws, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus.
