Key Responsibilities
The HR Coordinator will undertake a variety of specialized tasks to support the Human Resources department's operations.
Main Duties:
- Maintain complex and sometimes confidential records.
- Manage files, keep records, and perform data entry tasks.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Input data and generate reports using Microsoft Access and other software.
- Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and facilitating orientations.
- Respond to inquiries related to HR functions.
- Gather data for special projects or reports.
- Update information and generate reports primarily on computer systems.
- Answer HR-related phone calls as needed.
- Review information and make decisions within established guidelines.
- Prioritize documents to determine the best course of action.
- Maintain detailed reports.
- Coordinate special programs or events as required.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient reading, writing, math, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate professionally with diverse individuals.
- Proficient in keyboarding and computer skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and solve problems.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, HRIS, Time & Attendance, and Recruiting software.
Work Environment:
Most tasks are performed in a temperature-controlled office setting. The role may require extended periods of sitting at a desk or computer.
