The role involves executing a variety of specialized tasks that support the operational functions of the Human Resources department.
Main Duties include:
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain intricate and occasionally confidential records.
- Engage in extensive file management, record keeping, and data entry.
- Assist with payroll processing.
- Input data and generate reports using Microsoft Access Databases and other software.
- Support recruitment efforts, including scheduling interviews and facilitating orientations.
- Address inquiries related to assigned responsibilities.
- Gather data/information for special projects or reports.
- Update information and reports primarily on computer systems.
- Answer Human Resources phone calls as necessary.
- Review information/data and make decisions within established guidelines and instructions.
- Assess and prioritize documents to determine necessary actions.
- Maintain complex reporting systems.
- Coordinate special programs and/or events as requested.

Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Skills and Experience:
- Proficient reading, writing, math, and communication skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Capacity to interact with diplomacy, flexibility, and professionalism with diverse individuals in person, via phone, and through email.
- Proficient keyboarding skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and solve problems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, HRIS, Time & Attendance, and Recruiting software.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and analytical skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Most tasks are performed in a temperature-controlled office setting.
- The incumbent may spend extended periods seated at a desk or computer terminal.
- Use of keyboards, telephones, and other office equipment is common during the workday.
- Tasks may require stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching.
