As the Director of Health Center Operations, you are responsible for managing and evaluating the overall delivery of care and services at the health center, ensuring compliance with Federal, State, and Local standards, including HRSA, FTCA, and PCMH requirements. You will oversee and support Health Center managers in their daily operations and collaborate with Leadership to ensure that all aspects of patient care are addressed. Additionally, you will oversee grant requirements for the health center when applicable. It is essential that you always conduct and present yourself in a courteous and professional manner.


Essential Job Responsibilities
• Oversee Health Center Managers and their daily operations. Evaluate procedures and make recommendations for improvement and cost-effectiveness as needed.
• Set and monitor progress towards goals for all health centers.
• Lead health center staff in delivering excellent customer service and maintaining professionalism.
• Adhere to TAN Healthcare’s policies and procedures and make recommendations to the Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) team when applicable.
• Collaborate with Leadership on the future planning of health centers.
• Work with the Director of Patient Services to ensure Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) are addressed, and barriers to care are assessed and referred to Care Management as necessary.
• Participate in monthly meetings for Leadership, CQI, and Strategic Planning.
• Communicate timely and effectively with the health center team and Leadership.
• Conduct walkthroughs of health centers to ensure compliance with safety measures and regulations.
• Oversee grant requirements and measurable outcomes when applicable. Coordinate with Finance on the procurement and expenditure of funds.
• Assist CQI with credentialing and privileging of relevant health center staff.
• Understand HRSA UDS requirements, run related reports to monitor measures, and collaborate with Leadership to develop improvement plans.
• Understand PCMH requirements and assist CQI with monitoring and evaluation.
• Understand FTCA requirements and assist CQI with monitoring and evaluation.

• Travel between health center sites as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.


Minimum Education, Qualifications and Experience:
Education: Bachelors in Healthcare Administration or related field preferred but work experience can supersede.
Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years’ experience in healthcare management or operations. Experience managing health center operations, including familiarity with federal and state regulations, healthcare compliance, and quality improvement processes.
Successfully pass a background check. Must have strong working knowledge of Microsoft software as well as Windows-based computers and software. BLS Certification required. Able to work full time hours that the health center is open. Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time which may also include prolonged computer screen time. Adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
