- Provide comprehensive patient care, including prenatal, delivery, and postpartum services.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Develop and implement effective patient education programs to promote healthy outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices in OBGYN care.
Requirements:
- Current certification as an Advance Practice Nurse in the State of Texas.
- Current Texas midwife certification.
- One year full-time post-licensure clinical nursing experience.
- Master's degree required.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills to communicate with diverse populations.
- Leadership skills to direct others toward successful patient treatment.
- Analytical skills to evaluate patient status and healthcare procedures/techniques.
- Fiscal skills to monitor and control costs and revenue.
- Ability to conceptualize, develop, and implement new ideas or systems.
- Able to exercise sound judgment and discretion while performing duties.
- CPR; ACLS preferred.
