The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for invoicing and submission of

invoices to insurance for reimbursement. The Accounts Receivable Supervisor will have

strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to communicate

effectively with both internal and external stakeholders. This role is critical in allocating

resources across the department as business needs dictate.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversees the daily workflow of the Accounts Receivable Analysts.
  • Ensure the team generates and submits invoices to insurance companies accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Provide direction to the Billing Team; training, data discrepancy resolution, and cross-functional support.
  • Consistently evaluate current process and procedures; recommend improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Responsible for accurate billing rates by carrier.
  • Review customer accounts for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process customer refunds and adjustments as necessary.
  • Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and delayed payment.
  • Collaborate with Claims and Collections to resolve customer issues and inquiries.
Requirements:

Required Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience as people leader.
  • Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Physical Demands:

Required to stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time hourly position. Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Depending on business needs this position is eligible for over-time.


Work Authorization:

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License. All offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory results of a thorough background check and drug screen. Successful results of a background check are at the sole discretion of AGP.
