Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our Tampa office and manage our company's billing and collections process. In this important role, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be responsible for invoicing customers, tracking payments, preparing account statements, and following up on open invoices.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Send out invoices to customers for products/services rendered and record accounts receivables
  • Log all customer payments made and apply them to the correct open invoices
  • Follow up on unpaid/overdue invoices via email and phone calls
  • Reconcile accounts and research payment discrepancies
  • Generate aging reports to inform credit and collection efforts
  • Maintain accurate customer account records in the AR system
  • Handle all customer billing questions and invoice queries promptly

Requirements:

  • 1+ years experience with accounts receivable and general bookkeeping
  • Experience using accounts receivable/billing software
  • Strong math, accounting, and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service focus

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
