Furuno USA based in Camas, WA is looking for an Application Support Specialist for daily support of its 100 users in multiple locations in the USA and an office in Panama. We are looking for an innovative thinker who works well in a team environment and independently. The ideal candidate is collaborative, has strong communication skills, training and documentation skills, patience, analytical thinking, and strong attention to detail. They should be comfortable working with all levels of users. This position is located at our corporate headquarters in Camas, WA (not hybrid). Working hours are M-F 8am-5pm (1 hour lunch).

Qualifications

Associate degree in a related field such as Information Technology or 5+ years’ experience in related technology field

Experience with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Windows operating systems, Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft SQL, Microsoft Business Central, Microsoft CRM, Mac hardware, printing, peripherals, mobile devices, remote access, virus/malware removal.

Excellent interpersonal communication skills with all levels of the organization

Must have strong organizational and training skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across the department and the organization.

Must have the ability to read, write and speak fluent English, able to communicate effectively with management, other departments, employees, and the public. Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish is desirable.

Strong technical and troubleshooting skills.

Must be able to adapt to new technical concepts.

Knowledgeable of application integration software.

Willingness to learn applications that support various business units.

Responsibilities

Inclusive of but not limited to application testing, troubleshooting, patching, upgrading, end user support, training, and maintenance.

Assist department managers in identifying training needs.

Assist key users with developing training materials for business processes.

Assist key users in all departments with creating training materials for business processes.

Provide technical and system application administration expertise related to primarily Microsoft applications such as Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint, Dynamics CRM, Website

Provide assistance for technical and system application issue resolution.

Collaborate with IT Infrastructure related to support and maintenance of application servers and hardware components.

Prepare functional and technical documentation for application configuration and training.

Evaluates and recommends changes, updates and support maintenance.

Participate in project requirement gathering and project delivery.

Support users with Dynamics 365 Business Central, Microsoft 365 and CRM

Maintain inventory list of IT equipment.

Provide support for all communication systems including telephone lines, cellular phones, cabling, telecommunication billing, fax, copier and ordering of services and supplies.

Install and configure new systems and reallocate older systems.

Backup support for network administration.

Other duties may be assigned.

Salary range (hourly) $28.85 – $31.25 plus annual discretionary bonus

Benefits: Employees (and their families) are covered by medical, dental, vision & prescription plans (no monthly premium cost). Employees are covered by basic life, long-term disability with optional coverage for short-term disability, voluntary life and supplemental insurance. Employees can enroll in the company’s 401K plan as well as a flexible spending plan. First year employees are eligible to receive 8 hours of PTO every month. PTO accrual increases with years of service. 3.33 hours of disability bank hours accrued monthly with a maximum benefit of 240 hours. 10 paid holidays annually.
