As our IT Support Specialist, you play a critical role in providing hands-on technical support to our employees. Beyond troubleshooting IT-related issues, you will take the lead on computer set-up and deployment for new employees and provide support for stat technologies and other NBA-related systems.

DAY-TO-DAY:

Respond to and resolve help desk tickets, Zendesk requests, and user inquiries related to email, office software, and hardware issues.Assist in the setup and deployment of computer systems for new hires and existing employees.Support specialized technologies including stats technologies, scoring equipment, timing systems, and NBA-specific systems such as Genius and officiating technology.Occasionally provide support for audio-visual setups and troubleshooting during meetings or events.Work in Microsoft Entra (Active Directory), Exchange, and Intune to maintain user accounts, permissions, and security settings.Provide technical support during events hosted at the Rose Quarter, ensuring technology systems are operational and meeting event-specific requirements.Work closely with internal stakeholders and external vendors to address technology needs and provide exceptional customer service.

Proven experience in providing technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems, software applications, and electronic equipment.Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose issues, anticipate errors, and implement effective solutions.Excellent communication skills and a customer-centric approach to providing support, ensuring high levels of satisfaction among internal and external users.Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive attitude towards learning new technologies and enhancing technical skills.
