Additional Responsibilities include: 

  • Leads the month-end closing process.
  • Records all accounts payable transactions.
  • Follows accounting and tax laws and standards.
  • Investigates accounts payable issues as needed.
  • Builds relationships with vendors and colleagues.
  • Manages and trains accounts payable staff.
  • Hires and onboards accounts payable staff.
  • Ensures payments are made accurately and on time.
  • Creates accounts payable processes and procedures.


Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with a minimum of 5 years of related work experience, supervisory experience preferred
  • Results oriented with a developed knowledge of accounting procedures
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills with customer service focus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics AX
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and Microsoft Office skills
  • Proven ability to succeed in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exposure to Atlas and a credit card platform system is a PLUS

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:

  • the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;
