  • Examine and process payable claims, including invoices and purchase orders.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable data within the State Financial Management Application.
  • Manage credit card transactions, perform daily reconciliations, and ensure accuracy against Treasury bank statements.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records, making necessary journal entry adjustments.
  • Provide guidance and support to agency vendors regarding policies and procedures, facilitating the resolution of disputed amounts.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience in applying accounting methods and procedures.
  • Strong analytical skills to track errors and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ability to develop financial queries using business intelligence applications.
  • Experience with State of Oregon financial management software is preferred.
