Job DescriptionJob Description

The Talent Acquisition Recruiter will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and recruiting skilled trade talent for multi-site out-of-state locations. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in talent acquisition, specifically within the skilled trades sector. This role requires a proactive approach to sourcing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract skilled trade talent in a high-volume capacity
  • Developing & maintaining relationships with area trade schools, colleges / universities, and job development services for our various locations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, ensuring that current and future hiring needs are supported
  • Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking events, and industry-specific platforms, to identify potential candidates.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and evaluate candidates' skills, experience, and cultural fit for the organization.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews with hiring managers and provide timely feedback on candidate status.
  • Manage the interview process, including scheduling, logistics, and candidate communication.
  • Utilize the ATS to track and document candidate interactions, progress, and status throughout the recruitment process.
  • Ensure recruitment processes comply with legal and company policies, including EEO, ADA, and other employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in talent acquisition.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years in a recruiting or Talent Acquisition role of skill trade talent role with multi-state experience required.
  • Previous community outreach experience highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for candidate tracking and documentation.
  • Strong knowledge of sourcing techniques and tools, including job boards, social media, and networking platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to recruitment and hiring practices.
  • Bachelors’ degree preferred
