Position Purpose: The purpose of this position is to develop and implement an effective and results-focused high school recruitment strategy, along with an internal sales recruitment strategy. The High School Recruitment and Talent Acquisition Specialist will focus on developing meaningful partnerships with the local community to enhance the Institute's visibility and execute a successful high school student internal recruiting strategy and sales talent acquisition strategy for the Institute Support Center.

Responsibilities: The team member in this position must exhibit certain characteristics and perform specific duties during their daily or weekly routine. These responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Performs duties as assigned and/or required to meet business needs.
  • Abides by all other Nurtur policies and procedures as outlined in the Team Member Handbook and Code of Conduct.
High School Recruitment:
  • Manage and execute recruitment strategies, utilizing marketing and data-driven processes to increase high school student awareness of the Institute.
  • Develop and maintain communication and sustainable relationships with high school counselors, community college coordinators, and students.
  • Deliver Institute informational career presentations to high school students and attend college fairs to generate leads and potential enrollments for the Institute.
  • Collaborate with the Admissions and Financial Aid Team to ensure annual enrollment goals are achieved.
  • Maintain a meticulous and up-to-date Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to ensure accurate records that are consistent with all policies and training and efficient communication with potential students.
  • Attend regularly scheduled meetings with the High School Recruitment Team, Sales and Operations Team, and Director of Business Operations.
  • Meet and exceed performance goals established by the Director of Business Operations.
Talent Acquisition:
  • Develop and implement recruiting strategies to attract top talent for sales and operations roles.
  • Conduct thorough screening of resumes and applications, conduct initial interviews, and coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers and team leads.
  • Maintain a meticulous and up-to-date HR software system to ensure accurate records that are consistent with all policies and training and efficient communication with potential sales candidates.
  • Manage the candidate pipeline and provide timely feedback to candidates to ensure a positive experience through the recruitment process.
  • Negotiate offers and coordinate the onboarding process for new hires.
  • Build relationships and network with local communities to build new hire pipelines.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions and job postings for all internal sales and operations roles.
Minimum Requirements: The team member in this position must exhibit certain educational and experiential requirements, including:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Prior work experience in recruitment, high school counseling, admissions, or community relations preferred.
  • Exhibit self-direction, initiative, resourcefulness, and follow-through with the ability to work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks and projects at the same time.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate extreme professionalism and confidentiality in manner, dress, and conduct.
Travel Requirements: The team member in this position must be able to travel locally to events and for out-of-state training as necessary.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: The team member in this position will be expected to work in an office environment in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.   • Sit at a desk with a computer for up to eight (8) hours per day.
  • Use hands to handle objects and reach with hands and arms.
  • Walk, sit, stand, balance, stoop, speak, and hear.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Tolerate a minimal to moderate noise level typical of a corporate office setting.
