Accounting/Administrative Support

Response Technologies, Ltd. is an industry leader in the manufacturing and distribution of wireless security systems and other law enforcement products for specialized markets in the U.S.

We are seeking a tech savvy administrative support specialist to work alongside our Treasurer as a key member of a small, but talented team in our growing manufacturing company. You will split your time between order entry, basic accounting, and administrative support for our sales and technical service teams. Successful candidates will have a passion for people, comfort with learning technical product lines, and stand-out customer service and communication skills. Position Description

Job Type: Full-time

Our smaller office setting will expose you to multiple skills and duties, this position is ideal for an individual who is looking to move from an entry level administrative role to one that requires deeper skills and responsibility. If you desire to grow your career and have an aptitude for accounting, you will appreciate being exposed to opportunities to enhance your skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Completing order entry, invoicing, accounts receivable, and daily accounting tasks.
  • Assisting sales team with administrative support tasks while maintaining focus on the customer experience
  • Coordinating with sales and technical service teams and other staff members to maintain efficient workflow
  • Demonstrating commitment to learning and advancing product knowledge to provide informed support to both customers and fellow team members
  • Cross-training with other administrative staff to enable effective cross-support within the administrative department

Education

· Bachelor’s Degree preferred, but not required

Skills/Experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; team oriented
  • Quick to learn new business applications and product information
  • Organized and quality focused
  • Prior administrative, order management, and/or customer service experience of 1 to 3 years
  • Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Products. (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Swift data entry/ typing with high level of accuracy
  • Professional demeanor and appearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires sitting for extended periods
  • Typing
  • Auditory ability for making/ receiving phone calls

Location: West Chester, OH
