Regional Marketing Communication Manager - Time Out Markets (US)
Location: US Markets, ideally based in New York
Reports to: VP Operations North America Markets
Summary:
Time Out Market is a food and cultural market leveraging the editorial curation of Time Out to bring the best of the city together under one roof: its best chefs, restaurants, bars, and cultural experiences. We are seeking a Regional Marketing Communication Manager to enhance our brand presence in the US and ensure a seamless, exciting experience for our customers and partners.
We are looking for a dynamic and creative Regional Marketing Communication Manager to support our local Marketing Managers with marketing initiatives across all platforms in our US Markets. This role will be crucial in managing marketing campaigns, public relations efforts, social media strategies, coordinating entertainment and activations and ensuring brand consistency. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food and culture and has a proven track record of success in developing and implementing 360-degree campaigns, coordinating with various local stakeholders such as the US Markets’ General Managers, Marketing Managers as well as the global team. For this role we’re looking for an engaging all-rounder who will pro-actively support our busy local US-Market teams on a day-to-day basis, making their lives easier and ensuring our brand growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Consistency
Ensure all marketing, promotions, social media, and PR activities across the US Markets are in line with Time Out Market’s core brand guidelines.
Attend all US agency meetings, harmonising all tactics and activations with the brand strategy and company goals, and collaborate to ensure everything we do delivers against our high brand standards.
Support all marketing / brand activities for the US Markets, integrating the brand with local nuances while maintaining consistency.
Conduct regular brand training sessions and provide resources to the US teams, ensuring a consistent understanding of brand guidelines and brand implementation.
Drive internal brand engagement activities, ensuring that every team member is a brand ambassador.
Monitor and enforce brand compliance across all marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, content, and development, to ensure brand alignment in all projects.
Facilitate open communication and feedback channels between local and central marketing teams to continuously improve brand initiatives.
Activity Execution
Oversee marketing, campaigns, social media, and PR initiatives for the US Markets working with our local teams and agencies.
Direct and refine social media strategies across US Markets, ensuring brand alignment and effective audience engagement.
Collaborate with the creative team and local US teams to ensure that impactful campaigns and promotion materials are being developed and executed.
Streamline communication between teams, ensuring timely execution and feedback integration and enabling best practice sharing.
Monitor the brand's online reputation by monitoring feedback on platforms like Google Reviews, Trustpilot, and Yelp.
Support individual Market Managers if additional support on the ground is needed (e.g. during vacation periods etc).
Reporting, Research & Other Responsibilities
Monitor and evaluate the performance of campaigns, using data-driven insights to create dashboards and to provide feedback to the teams on future strategies to help them deliver against their goals.
Prepare detailed reports on campaign outcomes and market insights, presenting them to senior management and stakeholders.
Support incident/crisis response if needed, ensuring that the brand is safeguarded.
Stay updated on industry best practices and competitor activities to continuously improve marketing strategies to ensure we maintain a competitive edge.
Development of annual marketing plans working with the local US teams, aligning them with overall business goals and objectives
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, PR, or a related field.
Demonstrable experience in managing marketing campaigns, PR initiatives, and brand activations across diverse geographies.
Ability to work effectively across different geographies, cultures, and teams.
Strong networking capabilities with media, agencies, and market stakeholders.
