Job Overview

As a Regional Marketing Activation Specialist, you will act as the key representative between Soho and our spirits client's engagement in both On and Off National & Regional Accounts. Your role will involve direct oversight and management of staffing agency partnerships to plan and implement sampling and experiential marketing initiatives for Campari's National Accounts.


Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Recruiting, training, and supervising third-party agencies to ensure exceptional execution of sampling, local market, and experiential events.
  • Serving as the primary daily contact for the client's Field Marketing Manager (FMM) and National & Regional Sales Manager.
  • Collaborating with the National & Regional Sales Manager to monitor the status of all programming and events within your designated area.
  • Taking full ownership of National Account programs and activations, which encompasses pre-planning, call management, execution, and recapping.
  • Managing budgets and delegating programs for locally generated ad hoc, brand, trade, or special events in partnership with your respective FMM and National & Regional Sales Manager.
  • Overseeing sampling allocations with local market agency support in collaboration with other Regional Activation Managers to ensure flawless execution.
  • Forecasting and assisting in POS sourcing, inventory management, and warehousing needs by working closely with the client's national POS manager and third-party suppliers based on the local activation calendar and national sampling requirements.
  • In partnership with the FMM & National/Regional Sales Manager, managing National & Regional activation calendars with support and input from FMM/Sales.
  • Coordinating customer conferences, trade shows, and flagship programs.
  • Traveling to key activations and local agencies as necessary.
  • Attending key activations in the market for quality assurance.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience in Field Marketing, Mass Sampling Programs, and Experiential Marketing agency roles.
  • Experience managing multiple direct reports to support daily business operations is essential.
  • Experience overseeing third-party staffing agencies.
  • Prior experience in the spirits industry with a strong understanding of legal compliance is required.
  • Self-motivated, strategic thinker, and proactive problem solver.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong written, verbal, and public speaking abilities.
  • Proficient in budget and expense management.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% within your assigned territory.
  • Ideally based near a major US city.
