PRIMARY DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Independently analyzes, evaluates, and integrates solutions to complex technical problems
  • Performs complex analysis on projects or major phases of significant projects to enhance the technical and economic development of the product and/or service
  • Resolves a variety of technical problems leading to advanced engineering studies designed to increase efficiency or reduce costs
  • Develops and delivers complex technical presentations to senior management and customers.
  • Interacts with senior management and customer personnel on significant technical matters, advanced technical research studies, and applications
  • Collaborates with engineers during integration and test, and prepares relevant sections of technical documentation such as System Subsystem Specifications, Test Plans and Test Procedures, and support Factory and Site Acceptance testing
  • Applies system engineering principles to ensure requirements traceability, system predictability, manufacturing capability and performance verification
  • Travels 0-25% CONUS/OCONUS as required


Requirements

MINIMUM SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of work-related experience
  • Experience must be related to multidisciplinary team structures including hardware, electrical, and software design, build, integration and test activities
  • Experience with drawing package development and review
  • Must work well as an integrated team member supporting software and hardware engineers during design, development, and testing phases
  • Experience with DoD Tactical Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems
  • Must have an active DoD TS/SCI clearance


DESIRED SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Knowledge and work experience with Model Based Systems Engineering using Cameo
  • Knowledge of SOCOM Joint Threat Warning System or similar tactical SIGINT System
  • Experience with Radio Frequency (RF) theory and system design
  • Experience with system development in accordance with the DoD 5000 The Defense Acquisition System
