About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team at Procession Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex systems that meet the needs of our clients.
Key Responsibilities
System Development
- Develop system requirements and functional requirements, and allocate them to individual hardware, software, facility, and personnel components.
- Coordinate the resolution of action items from Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
- Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based upon evaluation of all necessary development and operational considerations.
- Develop system design solutions that satisfy the system requirements and fulfill the functional analysis.
- Participate in the development of system engineering documentation, such as System Engineering Plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
- Create models using model-based systems engineering suites.
Required Skills
Technical Qualifications
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Java, and PowerShell.
- Experience with cloud technologies and systems engineering using associated services.
- Experience with agile system development.
- Ability to work remotely as part of a virtual team.
- BS in Accounting, Information Systems, or other related field.
- Must successfully pass a background check and any additional customer background investigation requirements prior to employment.
Desired Skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Proficient in performing systems engineering.
- Experience with at least one model-based systems engineering tool.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and Azure cloud computing platforms.
- Experience engineering systems for classified, air-gapped, or high-side AWS Regions.
- Experience with serverless development methodologies, frameworks, and AWS Services (such as Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc.).
- Experience with CI/CD development tools such as Git, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, etc.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills.
