Cambridge International Systems, Inc. offers a full-time opportunity for a Cybersecurity Systems Architect based in Charleston, SC, with potential travel to various international locations. To qualify for this position, candidates must hold a current DoD Secret security clearance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Ideal candidates will possess experience in design engineering and the implementation of systems, including Physical and Logical Access Control, Intrusion Detection, Network Monitoring, CCTV, and Perimeter Security.

Engage in Engineering Quality Assurance and Quality Control peer reviews, alongside continuous capability development to ensure the delivery of high-quality systems.

You will collaborate with various disciplines and interface directly with project managers and clients.


Conduct site assessments and data analysis, along with systems verification and validation testing, including Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Pre-Installation and Test Check-Out (PITCO), and System Operational Verification Tests (SOVT).


Design security system architectures for Access Control Systems (ACS), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), CCTV, and LAN/WAN topologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls.


Provide engineering support for project and operational environments, as well as Certification and Accreditation of networks and platforms in accordance with DISA standards.

Identify and resolve issues related to field devices and system applications.

Assist in proposal efforts by researching and recommending quality equipment, systems, and standards.

Required QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess an active DoD Secret security clearance.


3-5+ years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably in consulting engineering, encompassing: Technology Analysis and Assessment, Design Definition, Development of Systems Specifications, Systems Analysis, Systems Architecture, Systems/Equipment Integration, Test & Evaluation Criteria, and Logistics support of Electronic Security Systems (ESS).

3+ years of experience conducting onsite installations at DOD facilities is preferred.

Bachelor's Degree

A Combination of Vendor Certifications:
Lenel, AMAG, Milestone Video, Pelco, MDI, Verint, DMP, Honeywell Vindicator, Software House, Southwest Microwave, Axis.

DoD Approved Baseline IAT Certifications:
Security+, Network+, CISSP


Requires a solid understanding and working knowledge of industry standards, including sections of NEC, NFPA 101, ICD 705, NISPOM, Navy SIPH, DISA APL, etc.

Develop comprehensive bills of materials from design and bid documents.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and applications is essential.

Must be adept in utilizing various technologies, including computers and other tools pertinent to the position.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Active Passport is necessary.

Ability to travel up to 50%, both CONUS and OCONUS.

OCONUS locations may include:
Germany

Bahrain

Occasionally, overnight travel may be required.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND CONDITIONS
Cambridge International Systems adheres to Temporary Duty Station (TDY)/Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) vaccination requirements.

If this position necessitates OCONUS travel, please refer to the applicable current vaccination requirements by location.


Must be able to work in an office environment, primarily sitting at a desk and using a computer throughout the workday.

Work is generally comfortable; the employee has discretion regarding sitting, walking, and standing.

May be required to travel short distances to offices/conference rooms and buildings on site.
