Job Summary and QualificationsThe Nuclear Medicine Technologist prepare and administer radioactive chemical compounds, known as radiopharmaceuticals. You will perform patient imaging procedures using sophisticated radiation-detecting instrumentation. You will provide images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
- State Registered Radiologic Technologist
- Associate Degree
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB)
HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care. We are designated by the Joint Commission as a Primary Stroke Center. Other specialties include maternity and neonatal care.
