At Diversified Transportation Services we are offering an exciting new opportunity to become a logistics telemarketer for our company We are a growing, fast-paced company looking for talent and for someone who can grow within our company.

We offer a comprehensive training program that will expose you to all facets of the supply chain industry from a third-party logistics perspective. There is room for both advancements in our operations department and also a path to pursue sales for the right candidates.

At Diversified Transportation Services, we are a cost leader providing supply chain solutions for over 30 years and 2 million-plus shipments. As a third-party logistics and technology-based provider, we aim to be cost-efficient while meeting our clients ever-changing needs. We are the clear leader when it comes to exceeding clients expectations with our experienced operational staff and sales professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating freight movement
  • Carrier sales and negotiating rates
  • Excel at Customer Service
  • Negotiate Rates
  • Follow up with customers and providers to sell, answer questions, and offer solutions
  • Act as a consultant to DTS clients

What we are looking for

  • A team player, helpful and cooperative
  • Excellent and verbal communication skills
  • Solid PC/Workstation skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills
  • Sales and customer service experience is/are a plus
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and easily over the telephone
  • Ability to handle objections

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's (Preferred, but not necessary)
