Your Role

In this prominent and client-facing position, you will be tasked with identifying and cultivating new business opportunities for both inbound and outbound operations related to the India Sub-Continent, with a primary focus on India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. You will play a crucial role in executing the sales strategy alongside the broader sales team and executive leadership. This position demands a proactive individual who can analyze various data sources to pinpoint opportunities and effectively implement the overall strategy in alignment with the company's growth objectives.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage customer accounts, fostering relationships and agreements.
  • Utilize your expertise in the designated territory to craft solutions that enhance customer needs and optimize their supply chain.
  • Act as the trade and subject matter authority for the assigned territory.
  • Develop and successfully execute a sales plan for the designated area.
  • Engage in regular business reviews with customers at a senior level to evaluate overall satisfaction.
  • Collaborate closely with the trade team to achieve targeted growth and market share on the respective trade lane.
  • Continuously assess, clarify, and validate customer needs.
  • Establish an internal network with international counterparts to evaluate pipeline and target accounts.
  • Formulate pricing strategies in collaboration with Trade Management and ensure proper quotation qualification.
  • Provide timely operational support to customers, including routings, escalations, quotes, and communication.
  • Maintain an extensive understanding of competitive products and their market activities, providing regular reports.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
  • Regularly update and maintain sales activities within the Client Relationship Management system.
  • Utilize all available resources to ensure success and deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Your Skills and Experiences

  • 5+ years of experience in the industry.
  • 5+ years of experience in a field sales environment.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Experience with RFPs, crafting sales plans, and developing customer solutions.
  • Preferred knowledge of specific countries or territories.
