  • Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am - 4:30pm
  • Pay Rate: $24/hr

Job Responsibilities & Description for AP Staff Accountant:
• Review all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment and enter them into the AP system.
• Initiate payments via the online banking system or web payment platform for all accounts payable.
• Manage vendors by corresponding appropriately, addressing discrepancies or inquiries,completing credit applications, and acquiring W-9 (or W-8BEN) and insurance certificates as required.
• Maintain all accounts payable reconciliations, reports, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors, management and internal personnel. regarding past/future transactions, payments and/or invoices.
• Assist in monthly closings.
• Prepare analysis of accounts and reports, as required.
• Perform filing, copying, and other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
• Filing annual 1099's and 1042's

Job Requirements for AP Staff Accountant:
• An associate degree in the field of accounting is required from an accredited program.
• A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• Professional certification (e.g., CPA) is a plus.
