Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate monthly financial reports and lead the month-end closing process.
  • Prepare and record monthly journal entries in the general ledger, ensuring precision and compliance.
  • Assist in the formulation of labor and overhead standard costs and perform monthly comparisons of standard versus actual costs.
  • Work closely with the operations team to verify inventory accuracy and assess obsolescence.
  • Oversee fixed asset management and depreciation entries to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • Administer and reconcile intercompany accounts to maintain organizational consistency.
  • Conduct monthly reconciliations of cash accounts to uphold financial integrity.
  • Support the sales department in processing orders and managing customer invoices.
  • Accurately collect and document cash payments.
  • Assist external tax professionals in the preparation of annual corporate tax filings.
  • Contribute to audit and financial review processes, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with clients, suppliers, and other business stakeholders to nurture positive relationships.
  • Guide and mentor the accounting team, promoting a cooperative and effective work environment.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience with an ERP system across multiple modules.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including excellent written and verbal communication; sound judgment and the ability to interact with various management levels and teams
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities are essential
  • High standards of attention to detail are required
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding business operations and internal information
  • Self-motivated with the capability to work independently and a strong work ethic
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel at an intermediate level
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • Must successfully pass background and credit checks
