AmesburyTruth is seeking a dedicated Intercompany Financial Analyst to become a vital part of our finance team. This position is focused on the comprehensive management of Intercompany Accounting processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Management: Oversee and validate intercompany transaction requests, ensuring accuracy in both sending and receiving details.
- Collaborate with relevant accounting personnel to address exceptions in intercompany transactions.
- Monitor transaction workflows and coordinate with involved parties to facilitate timely actions.
- Prepare accruals for ongoing transactions, such as goods in transit.
Reconciliation Duties:
- Conduct both preliminary and final reconciliations for intercompany accounts across various locations.
- Resolve discrepancies in intercompany reconciliations within established month-end reporting deadlines.
- Prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with required timelines.
Settlement Coordination:
- Work alongside staff responsible for payment transactions to ensure all settlement requirements are met.
- Manage payments and collections associated with intercompany activities.
- Maintain and reconcile the consolidation system by accurately inputting and verifying data.
- Analyze discrepancies to identify root causes and collaborate with other departments for resolution.
- Enhance accounting procedures by reviewing current practices and suggesting improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial systems.
- Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
