AmesburyTruth is seeking a dedicated Intercompany Financial Analyst to become a vital part of our finance team. This position is focused on the comprehensive management of Intercompany Accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Management: Oversee and validate intercompany transaction requests, ensuring accuracy in both sending and receiving details.
  • Collaborate with relevant accounting personnel to address exceptions in intercompany transactions.
  • Monitor transaction workflows and coordinate with involved parties to facilitate timely actions.
  • Prepare accruals for ongoing transactions, such as goods in transit.

Reconciliation Duties:

  • Conduct both preliminary and final reconciliations for intercompany accounts across various locations.
  • Resolve discrepancies in intercompany reconciliations within established month-end reporting deadlines.
  • Prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with required timelines.

Settlement Coordination:

  • Work alongside staff responsible for payment transactions to ensure all settlement requirements are met.
  • Manage payments and collections associated with intercompany activities.
  • Maintain and reconcile the consolidation system by accurately inputting and verifying data.
  • Analyze discrepancies to identify root causes and collaborate with other departments for resolution.
  • Enhance accounting procedures by reviewing current practices and suggesting improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in accounting or financial analysis.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles and financial systems.
  • Experience with SAP or other large ERP systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficient in advanced Excel functionalities.
