We seek a Corporate Vice President of Sales at Woodside Homes to play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth and success by leading our enterprise-wide sales strategy and execution for both Woodside and SHAWOOD. This executive role demands a dynamic leader who can develop and implement robust sales strategies, influence a high-performing sales team, and build strong relationships with key stakeholders. Working closely with the COO, Division Presidents, and other members of the executive leadership team, the Corporate VP of Sales will ensure that our sales efforts are aligned with Woodside Homes' overarching business objectives.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic: As the Corporate VP of Sales, you will be responsible for formulating and executing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at achieving business growth for both Woodside and SHAWOOD sales.
  • Executive Leadership: You will serve as a key member of the executive leadership team, contributing to the overall business strategy.
  • Operational: Recruiting, developing, and retaining top sales talent, along with providing leadership, mentorship, and performance management, will be essential in fostering a culture of high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement. Overseeing the implementation of sales processes, tools, and technologies to enhance efficiency will be critical, as will continuously evaluating and optimizing sales operations for maximum productivity and effectiveness.
  • Tactical: Monitoring and analyzing sales metrics to measure performance against goals is a key tactical responsibility. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed will ensure that sales targets are consistently met.
  • CRM Ownership: You will own the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring it is effectively utilized to support the sales process.
  • Collaboration: Partnering closely with the VP of Learning & Development, you will collaborate on developing and delivering training programs tailored to the sales team. This includes identifying training needs, creating development plans, and implementing continuous learning initiatives to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with an MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in sales, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role, is required.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth in the homebuilding or a related industry.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, excellent leadership and team management abilities, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems is also required.


Working Conditions:

This role involves regular travel to division offices, sales offices, and industry events. While it is primarily office-based, there is flexibility for remote work as needed.
