We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Real Estate function as Vice President, Real Estate. This is a unique opportunity to join a Fortune 300 organization and drive strategic growth through innovative real estate solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all aspects of the company's real estate portfolio, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and facilities management.
- Develop and implement strategic relationships with key business leaders, design and construction professionals, legal counsel, brokers, and other partners.
- Provide oversight for site selection, construction, expansion, renewal, consolidation, extension, sublet, and termination activities within the portfolio.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and operational analysis to ensure alignment with company standards and policies.
- Establish and maintain relationships with landlords, property managers, key vendors, suppliers, builders, contractors, and other third parties.
- Serve as a main point of contact for business leaders to understand business objectives and influence portfolio solutions.
- Develop and evolve standards, processes, and procedures as business needs change.
- Establish strategic priorities, key performance indicators, and business reporting to ensure efficiency, performance, and cost effectiveness.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in a hands-on, corporate real estate role with a multi-site business model and rapid growth.
- MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
- Current experience in real estate portfolio management, construction management, and facilities management, preferably with a complex portfolio that includes diverse commercial and/or industrial properties.
- Experience with implementation and management of real estate technology solutions.
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing teams.
- Proven record managing operating and capital budgets.
- Experience working with and/or managing cross-functional teams and third parties.
- High level of competency in written and oral communications and reporting with senior leadership.
- Strong process engineer with the ability to manage operations and projects.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Excellent judgment.
- High ethics and integrity.
- Exceptional leadership abilities; able to motivate and direct employees at various levels of experience and knowledge.
