ExecuSource has partnered with a risk advisory and insurance solutions group in the search for a Business Development Manager selling commercial insurance services to PE groups. This position is permanent placement (not contract) and open due to growth. The Business Development Manager will be focused on cultivating partnerships with Lower Middle Market and Middle Market Private Equity firms. Solid +5 years proven sales experience in insurance or private equity sectors is required. Candidate is ideally located near Cincinnati, OH but open to fully remote candidates within the US. Travel to HQ 1x/quarter for in person meeting.

  • Serve as the primary contact for private equity firms, building and nurturing strong partnerships.
  • Understand the trends and challenges within the private equity industry related to insurance and employee benefits.
  • Assist in due diligence during M&A activities.
  • Align interactions between private equity firms and our brokerage.

  • Generate and manage potential sales leads within the private equity sector.

What you need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Proven sales success, ideally in insurance or private equity sectors.
  • Must be able to drive and grow a book of business
  • Possess high level of professionalism
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
