Description

JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for coordinating clinical research projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains basic competencies required to conduct clinical research including

maintaining current training records, RN license and state required CEUs.

  • Develops, conducts, and facilitates research protocols. Enrolls and manages study subjects and

subject encounters.

  • Performs clinical nursing duties as required by study protocols as necessary.
  • May serve as a clinical resource to non-clinical staff.
  • Develops recruitment strategies with study teams.
  • Educations subjects on study related activities.
  • Performs data management activities including data abstraction, collection, source development

and reporting.

  • Manages sponsor interactions, including visits, queries and other requests.
  • Manages administrative responsibilities, to include research documentation, research revenue

capture and subject payments, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Registered Nurse from an accredited school of nursing, OR graduate from an accredited school of

nursing with current Georgia license for Advanced Practice Nursing and a Masters degree in Nursing, OR

graduate of an accredited Physician Assistants program with current license for the Georgia State

Composite Board.

Minimum Experience Required

One year of experience in clinical research, healthcare, or related field.

Minimum Licensure/Certification Required By Law

Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License OR

Licensed Physician Assistant in the State of Georgia. OR Licensed for Advanced Practice Nursing

(ACNP).
