Role of the Medical Assistant/Nurse:

The Medical Assistant/Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring that patients receive top-notch care during their participation in clinical research studies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating a welcoming and enjoyable environment for patients.
  • Conducting patient visits with precision, ensuring adherence to clinical trial protocols.
  • Reviewing and maintaining accurate patient records.
  • Serving as a knowledgeable resource in double-blind studies.
  • Administering investigational products and medications responsibly.
  • Collecting and entering patient data accurately into various systems.
  • Communicating effectively with pharmaceutical sponsors regarding patient data.
  • Building and maintaining trust with physicians by keeping them informed about schedules and trial protocols.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Required: Certification as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN.
  • Required: A minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • This position is onsite, Monday through Friday; remote or hybrid options are not available.
  • Prior experience in clinical research is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Coffee enthusiasts are preferred; tea drinkers are also welcome.
