ORGANIZATION: AMERICAN SOCIETY OF CLINICAL ONCOLOGY (ASCO)


The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is seeking a board-certified Medical Oncologist with a specialization in sarcoma, dedicated to the management of adult patients suffering from bone and soft tissue malignancies.

This role will involve collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of specialists, including surgical oncologists, orthopedic surgeons, thoracic oncologists, radiation oncologists, and pathologists, all committed to providing comprehensive care for sarcoma patients.

Academic pursuits may encompass translational research, participation in early-phase clinical trials, and studies focused on health disparities.

The ideal candidate will engage in direct patient care while also contributing to graduate medical education and clinical research initiatives.

The Department of Hematology and Medical Oncology is expanding rapidly, with professional practices located across various metropolitan areas.

ASCO seeks candidates who possess an M.D. or equivalent degree and demonstrate the ability to collaborate effectively across various subspecialties to deliver the high-quality care that ASCO is recognized for.

Applicants must be Board eligible/certified and eligible for licensure. Strong candidates will have a solid clinical background in managing patients with sarcomas.

Clinical responsibilities will include outpatient consultations, long-term patient management, inpatient consultations, and collaboration with other oncology specialists.

Additional responsibilities may involve community outreach, educational activities, and support for clinical research.
