Role of the Medical Assistant/Nurse:

The Medical Assistant/Nurse plays a crucial role in ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction during clinical research studies. Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for patients visiting our clinic.
  • Ensuring that all clinical trial protocols are followed meticulously during patient visits.
  • Conducting self-reviews of charting to maintain accuracy and quality.
  • Serving as the unblinded resource in double-blind, placebo-controlled studies.
  • Administering investigational products and medications responsibly.
  • Collecting data from patient visits, including questionnaires, and entering information into various online systems.
  • Communicating effectively with Pharmaceutical Sponsors regarding charting and patient data inquiries.
  • Building and maintaining trust with physicians by keeping them informed about schedules and current clinical trial patients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Required: Certification as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN.
  • Required: Minimum of 6 months of experience in a healthcare environment.
  • This position is onsite, Monday through Friday. Remote or hybrid options are not available.
  • Previous clinical research experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Coffee enthusiasts preferred; tea drinkers are welcome.
