Role Summary

If you are weary of long hospital shifts, overnight duties, and overwhelming patient loads that hinder quality care, consider the realm of clinical research. We provide a vibrant, supportive team atmosphere and have recently launched a new clinic. You will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge medical treatments, devices, and vaccines through our clinical trials.

As a Nurse Practitioner/Sub-Investigator in clinical research, you will collaborate closely with the Principal Investigator (MD) and Clinical Research Coordinators to facilitate trials. The Nurse Practitioner plays a pivotal role in the execution and success of clinical trials, including serving as the Sub-Investigator through comprehensive assessments of study participants and safety evaluations. You will oversee patient participation throughout the trial, ensuring their safety and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and Analyzing Clinical Trial Protocols
  • Conducting Physical Examinations
  • Performing Study-Specific Medical Assessments (training provided by the study sponsor)
  • Interpreting Lab Results and ECGs
  • Ensuring a Positive Experience for All Patients at the Clinic
  • Preparing for Upcoming Clinical Trials
  • Participating in Investigator Meetings (Optional, all expenses covered)
  • Assisting with Chart Review and Quality Assurance
  • Communicating with Protocol Medical Monitors from the Sponsor
  • Conducting Patient Visits in the Absence of the Principal Investigator
  • Supporting Clinical Staff and Providing Guidance as Needed

Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner or equivalent qualification
  • Active Medical License in Georgia
  • Welcoming new graduates
  • No prior Clinical Research experience required; comprehensive training will be provided
