Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Technical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support related to phone applications, software, and account setup. The role involves responding to inquiries, isolating problems, and determining and implementing solutions.
Summary of Roles and Responsibilities:
- Respond to client queries in a timely and accurate manner via phone, email, or chat.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
- Walk clients through the problem-solving process.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of user accounts, passwords, and security levels.
- Provide support for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of our phone application.
- Document customer interactions, technical procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on the status of customer issues and resolutions.
- Maintain a knowledge base of technical solutions and procedures.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest technology trends and solutions.
Required Abilities/Skills:
- Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist or other customer support role.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal.
- Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing excellent service.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
