Schneider Electric has an opportunity for a NAM Secure Power Business Operations Manager supporting our Secure Power Division.

Location: remote U.S.

The Business Operations Manager is a pivotal role within the Sales Effectiveness and Operations team of the Secure Power NAM Sales Strategy & Operations organization. This position is responsible for driving efficiency and productivity through continuous sales process improvement, having a direct impact in the Secure Power NAM business.

The role involves driving continuous improvement to critical business processes using an analytical decision-making framework based on data and facts - such as Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles - and collaborating with employees at all levels to identify and assess strategic and operational objectives.

What will you do?
  • Sales and order-to-cash process improvement and problem-solving to deliver a positive customer experience and increase sales team productivity.
  • Validate benefits, cost, and opportunity fit of process/opportunity/system changes and prioritizes these initiatives based on established guidelines.
  • Establish programmatic mechanisms for planning, completing, and monitoring process changes based on data and facts.
  • Manage cross-functional project teams and own the design, development, implementation, and success measures of process changes.
  • Communicate the status of the initiatives and associated projects or teams to appropriate levels of the organization up to executive leadership.
  • Research internal and external best practices and recommend potential process improvements.

What skills and capabilities will make you successful?
  • A four-year degree and 10+ years of relevant experience are required; a master's degree in industrial engineering, quality, productivity or similar field is a plus.
  • Experience in large industrial or technology corporations leading operational improvement cross-functional efforts.
  • Strong communication and relationship skills at all levels.
  • Flexibility to adjust course to achieve objectives and exceed goals.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, facilitation, and data analytics skills.
  • Strong business acumen and a process-oriented mentality.
  • Working knowledge of lean principles and concepts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and strong time management skills.
  • Six Sigma Black or Green belt is a plus.
  • Oracle and SFDC knowledge is desired.
