Job Summary

Detail-oriented, organized, personable individual needed to join the Communities Advancing Science for Society (ComPASS) Coordination Center Team as our CHESI Engagement Manager. The ComPASS Coordination Center is a newly funded grant program awarded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The role of the Drexel ComPASS Coordination Center (C3) is to support the planning, implementation, and evaluation of 25 Community Health Equity Structural Intervention (CHESI) sites across the country. These 25 sites all represent community-based organizations or agencies serving communities in the public health and related social services sector. We invite applicants to come and be a part of a team that is dedicated and determined to advance health equity and health as a human right.

The successful applicant will have outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills. Reporting to the COMPASS Sr. Project Manager, the Sr. Community Engagement Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong working relationships with CHESI sites across the country, to ensure that they are supported throughout the planning, implementation, and evaluation of their structural interventions.

Essential Functions

Serve as main point of contact and lead coordinator for all CHESI support activities led by C3.
Develop, implement and manage systems for responding to CHESI requests for support.
Ensure that CHESI requests are prioritized, triaged, assigned and responded to in a timely manner.
Coordinate with other support teams (e.g., NIH and academic sites designated as Regional Hubs) to identify and address CHESI needs.
Establish regular communications with NIH Project Scientists and Program Officers for the Coordination Center, CHESIs, and Regional Hubs.
Manage the C3 Drexel email account and support request form.
Manage the internal ComPASS website discussion board.
Identify trends in CHESI requests to inform training and resource development.
Oversee translation of materials from English to Spanish.
Manage scheduling of Spanish language interpretation services.
Required Qualifications

Master's degree in public health or related field or Equivalent work experience
5 years of experience working in project management/coordination including coordinating and delivering training /technical support for diverse clients
3-5 years of experience working with community based non-profit organizations
Very detail oriented, extremely organized, and comfortable with multitasking
Comfortable working with project management software
Possess excellent oral, written, analytical/quantitative, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Strong leadership and project management skills
Team oriented and experience working with diverse groups
Can work independently
Demonstrated complex problem-solving ability
Proficient in MS Office Suite, Teams and SharePoint
Proficient in task management and project management software
Preferred Qualifications

Bi-lingual; English, Spanish
Familiarity and experience with Community Based or Engaged Research approaches
Experience using for project management

Additional Information

This position is classified as exempt, grade L. Compensation for this grade ranges from $62,630 to $93,950 per year. Please note that the offered rate for this position typically aligns with the minimum to midrange of this grade, but it can vary based on the successful candidate's qualifications and experience, department budget, and an internal equity review.
