The Community Engagement Coordinator is responsible for overseeing all outreach initiatives while collaborating across the Organization to manage the research, development, execution, and evaluation of programs and services that significantly influence the local community.

This individual serves as the Organization's representative, ensuring positive visibility within diverse neighborhoods throughout the city.

The role of the Community Engagement Coordinator is to enhance brand recognition and act as the organization's presence in the community.

This person will maintain a strong connection to the organization's mission and activities within the community.

The Community Engagement Coordinator guarantees that the community engagement strategy is woven into all facets of the Organization's operations, including training, program development, staff training, marketing and communications, and partnerships.

By staying current in the community engagement sector and assessing participant feedback, this individual will contribute to the organization's thought leadership regarding community engagement, community resources, development, programming, and stakeholder involvement.

Track and report activities and key metrics using CRM tools (e.g., Excel & Salesforce)
Provide weekly updates on key initiatives to the Executive Leadership Team.

Develop and implement strategies to engage past and present participants and other stakeholders within local communities.

Enhance brand visibility by interacting with diverse stakeholders on-site, in various retail and service locations, demonstrating adaptability and versatility.
Cultivate relationships with collaborative partners at local, regional, and state levels.
Identify, plan, and participate in numerous outreach activities, including community events, fairs, workshops, appearances, and other communication opportunities.

Oversee and direct the execution of both in-person and remote training sessions on relevant topics to foster successful strategies within local communities.

Inform an annual budget for community outreach initiatives.

Assist in the recruitment, orientation, training, deployment, and retention of volunteers, street teams, and staff related to ongoing community engagement, marketing, and outreach.

Supervise daily operations of community engagement activities.

Encourage and provide opportunities for staff learning, sharing, and professional development to enhance knowledge and skills related to community engagement and other relevant organizational goals.

Inform innovative programming based on observations and insights from the communities served.
Actively seek resources and partnerships to develop a comprehensive wraparound services referral program.
Bachelor's degree is required.
~3 -5 years of experience in Community Engagement, Business, Social Work, Education, or a related field is preferred.
~Preferred experience within the non-profit sector or with outreach initiatives.
~ Strong project management, interpersonal, relationship-building, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
~ Proven experience working with a diverse range of constituencies in various communities.
~ Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
~ Proficient in Excel, data tracking, and reporting.
~ Any relevant language proficiency or fluency skills should be noted.

At least 75-80% of the time is expected to be spent outside of the office.)
