The Sr. Payroll Analyst is responsible for ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations, auditing payroll processes, and providing expertise in payroll systems and practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll systems, tax laws, and compliance requirements. This position requires excellent analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Review and audit payroll data for accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Review and verify timekeeping records and work schedules.
  • Stay updated on changes in payroll laws and regulations and implement necessary updates.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll-related training programs.
  • Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies and trends.
  • Generate and distribute detailed payroll reports to management.
  • Conduct audits to ensure payroll accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with IT and other departments to implement system upgrades and improvements.

YOU HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree specializing in HR, Business or related field, OR equivalent work experience in human resources/payroll within a business environment
  • 6+ years' experience with a large volume, multistate payroll
  • Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of payroll regulations and compliance requirements
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) designation
  • Experience with payroll integrations and system implementations
