The Opportunity:

The Commissions Team is responsible for executing our compensation strategies by utilizing data from key applications across the organization, performing intricate data calculations, and developing commission structures for all product lines and business units.

As a Commissions Analyst, you will be part of a team that is not only relied upon for precise outcomes but also collaborates with our sales and management teams worldwide.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
  • Process monthly and quarterly commissions and bonuses from start to finish (you will handle the entire workflow from data sourcing, calculations, and statements to payroll).
  • Implement contracts by converting written agreements with employees into functional mathematical formulas.
  • Review data outputs to detect and rectify financial discrepancies related to commission payments.
  • Develop accurate and scalable systems while considering efficiency and process optimization.
  • Conduct financial data analysis to uncover trends, issues, and opportunities for process and reporting enhancements.
  • Ensure that the overarching objectives of the contracts are being met.
  • Audit transaction-level data for precision.
  • Prepare various monthly and ad hoc reports.
  • Collaborate with the Commissions team to automate and enhance processes.
Your Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and data mining.
  • Bachelor's degree (Advanced degree preferred) or a combination of relevant experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (capable of performing complex functions) and experience with Microsoft Access.
  • Intermediate mathematical skills and experience in auditing extensive datasets.
  • Experience with financial reporting.
Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 base salary per year in the state of WA - New hires should anticipate starting at the lower end of the range based on experience. Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
