The Opportunity:
The Commissions Team is responsible for executing our compensation strategies by utilizing data from key applications throughout the organization, performing intricate data calculations, and constructing commission structures across various product lines and business units.
As a Commissions Analyst, you will be part of a team that is not only relied upon for precise outcomes but also collaborates with our sales and management teams globally.
Key Responsibilities:- Process monthly and quarterly commissions and bonuses comprehensively, managing the entire workflow from data sourcing to payroll integration.
- Translate written agreements with employees into functional mathematical formulas for contract implementation.
- Review data outputs to detect and rectify financial discrepancies related to commission distributions.
- Develop accurate and scalable systems, focusing on efficiency and process enhancement.
- Conduct financial data analysis to uncover trends, issues, and opportunities for process and reporting improvements.
- Ensure that the overarching objectives of the contracts are met.
- Audit transaction-level data for precision.
- Prepare various monthly and ad hoc reports.
- Collaborate with the Commissions team to automate and refine processes.
- 5+ years of experience in data warehousing and data mining.
- Bachelor's degree (Advanced degree preferred) or equivalent experience.
- Proficient in Advanced Excel (capable of performing complex functions) and Microsoft Access.
- Intermediate mathematical skills with experience in auditing extensive datasets.
- Familiarity with financial reporting.
