Job Scope


• Provide Scientific Expert Leadership to the Corporate Team.


• Develop and/or enhance with the Corporate Team strategies within Pathology/Disease Areas based on both solid supporting evidence and profound understanding of scientific trends and continuous exchange with top scientist and leading Academia.


• Foster and facilitate strategies for data generation, differentiation and value demonstration aiming to Integrated Evidence Generation Plans


• Stay abreast of the clinical literature and IVD opportunities development.


• Proactively work to maintain and develop high level KOL engagement to help develop effective research and access strategies.


• Support assays pre–and post–launch activities. Focus on product launch clinical readiness, accountable for the quality and consistency of scientific and medical information within the organization.


• Supports the development of training materials, information technology systems and other scientific affairs infrastructure.


• Educate internal team members on disease state paradigm changes, competitive intelligence, and key opinion leader views and opinions as it pertains to the products.


• Partner with R&D leaders in the development of scientific strategic initiatives and tactics defining direction and best execution modalities.


• Lead development of processes and capabilities that optimize the delivery of scientific services to internal stakeholders (Sales, Commercial, Marketing and R&D teams) and external customers.


• Provide scientific and clinical expertise to internal (marketing, sales, regulatory affairs, R&D, and legal) and external (healthcare professionals, patients, advocacy groups, etc.) customers.


• Engage KOL to gather critical insights to shape internal strategies as well as build strategic advocacy to advance our business goals.


• Review protocol for company–sponsored and investigator–initiated studies.


• Leverage scientific and strategic expertise to provide scientific leadership to global–corporate cross–functional teams.


• Ensure that medical affairs resources such as consultants' meetings, advisory board meetings, medical conventions, are duly translated into viable materials for other internal stakeholders.


• Works closely with the sales and marketing directors to ensure optimal alignment of resources to deliver area goals and objectives, and successful product launches.


• Plan scientific programs at congresses and company–sponsored symposia.
