Senior Associate for Faculty Affairs

The Department of Epidemiology is seeking a highly skilled and organized Senior Associate for Faculty Affairs to provide administrative support for the Chair's Office. This role will involve managing multiple facets of faculty appointments, promotions, onboarding, and exit processes, as well as coordinating faculty searches and data management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient processes for faculty appointments and promotions.
- Oversee faculty onboarding and exit processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new and departing faculty members.
- Manage monthly faculty meetings, including agenda building, presentation preparation, and minute follow-up.
- Support new faculty searches, including coordinating logistics and communication.
- Assist in planning and executing Chair's Office events and weekly departmental seminars.
- Manage faculty data and generate reports, providing valuable insights for the Chair's Office.
- Develop and review departmental processes and procedures, recommending improvements to maximize workflow.
- Collaborate with the Administrative Manager to execute initiatives and manage projects on behalf of the Chair.
- Provide backup administrative support to other members of the Chair's Office.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Five years of experience in providing high-level administrative support.
- Additional related experience may substitute for required education, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Monday.com platform or similar task management tools.
- Database management skills.
Working Conditions:
This is a hybrid position, requiring on-site work 3-4 days a week. The successful candidate will be expected to work collaboratively with the Sr. Administrative Coordinator to ensure office coverage.
