RHI Magnesita has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Business Partner. This role is an onsite position in York, PA and will support onsite, hybrid and remote employees in Operations, Business Intelligence, Finance and Global roles within the region.

This position will serve as the main point of contact for general employee relations, talent acquisition, business and HR projects and delivering high level customer support to assigned client groups. This position serves as a partner to the business and its team members through the entire employee life cycle.

Tasks will include:

  • Support '100% Safe Everywhere' Culture by prioritizing safety in daily tasks, honoring all guidelines and directly supporting plant safety team(s)
  • Deliver timely, data-driven, market-based guidance, data and best practice solutions to meet business needs.
  • Utilize HRIS tools to compile data and present insights to inform business decisions
  • Providing employee relations support to assigned client group in alignment with all applicable guidelines and regulations
  • Identify and execute plans for talent management which enable mentorship, knowledge retention and employee engagement
  • Identify and execute plans with internal CoE, Shared Services and external partners to meet talent development needs
  • In partnership with CoE and external vendors, support international transfers and work visa sponsorship process
  • Providing performance management guidance to line management including HR policy guidance and interpretation.
  • Facilitating the full cycle, high volume recruiting and onboarding for the associated business units, including managing external staffing partners
  • Enable business goals by executing change management and leadership development programs to support strategic initiatives (Big 6 and similar)
  • Drive local and regional engagement efforts related to culture and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion
  • Onsite work for 3-4 days per week, including ability to meet with employees and leaders on off shift as needed
  • Occasional, brief domestic travel for training and team meetings

Do you have:

  • HR professional certification (HRCI, SHRM, etc), highly preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in a Manufacturing or similar fast-paced work environment.
  • Proficient knowledge of work visa sponsorship paths and supporting documentation
  • Expert skills in gathering data, compiling insights and presenting in concise manner to inform strategic business decisions
  • Demonstrated success in applying change management strategy to local and regional projects
  • Proficient use of HRIS, preferably SAP SuccessFactors and Power BI
  • Demonstrated success in supporting a diverse group of employees, including front line employees, managers and global roles
  • Proficient knowledge of federal and state labor laws and regulations
  • High proficiency with MS Office Suite of products.
  • Ability to interact with staff, partners, and the general public with a calm and professional demeanor, pleasant and clear tone of voice, and follow through with their requests.
