With over 15 years of experience in guiding organizations to meet their strategic goals by serving as their HR partner, we assist businesses in areas such as recruitment, employee training, compensation strategies, and workforce retention.

The Human Resources Advisor will deliver exceptional consulting and administrative services to clients on a wide range of HR topics, processes, and policies, adhering to industry best practices and regulatory standards.

This position is part-time without benefits, with the possibility of evolving into full-time hours depending on client needs. Candidates must reside in the Southern Maine area and be available to work on-site at client locations.

Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Advisor:

  • Provide strategic guidance to clients on HR and employment-related matters.
  • Deliver ongoing operational and administrative support for daily HR functions, including staffing, compliance, onboarding, benefits administration, compensation, leave management, employee relations, and investigations.
  • Implement HR initiatives such as assessments, policy development, employee surveys, and performance management systems tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Facilitate HR training sessions.

Qualifications for the Human Resources Advisor:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management, organizational development, or a related field, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a human resources generalist role.
  • HRCI or SHRM certification is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, both collaboratively and independently across various projects.
  • Exhibit integrity and strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
