The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.

Role Summary:

MUFG is rich with transformation, with Human Resource (HR) activities that will add value to your long-term HR career. We are looking for a "hands-on" Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) who is eager to move to the next level of their HR career. The HRBP will be aligned to our Technology organization and will have a leading role in supporting the strategic direction of the business. You will be responsible for developing and implementing our people strategy and will provide professional HR guidance and support. The HRBP will interact with all levels of leadership and work on a wide variety of human capital initiatives. In addition, you will assist in helping MUFG build ties with the local community by engaging in networking and branding opportunities.

Main Responsibilities :

  • Work as a liaison between Technology and HR to ensure that HR services are aligned with the business needs
  • Develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business and location strategy
  • Support line managers in organizational design, forecasting and planning their talent pipeline requirements in line with the function/business strategy
  • Partner with the Centers of Excellence (COE) teams on talent lifecycle events such as comp reviews, talent and performance reviews, talent acquisition, succession planning, employee engagement
  • Demonstrate knowledge of HR policies and processes
  • Help the business unit leader to provide employees with development opportunities, and ensure that they are able to meet current and future performance standards
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR and recruitment policies and initiatives
  • Ensure that a strong leadership and coaching culture permeates the organization
  • Manage specific projects as required, and participate in functional and cross-functional initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 6 years' experience as an HR Generalist/HR Business Partner
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or equivalent work experience
  • Project management experience involving concept development through implementation and measurement stages
  • Ability to influence and build credibility at all levels and establish collaborative working relationships
  • Strong numerical and excel skills
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), database management and record keeping
  • Excellent consulting, coaching, facilitation and client management skills
  • Financial services/banking and/or Technology industry experience preferred

The typical base pay range for this role is between $125-160K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
