Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns.
  • Collaborate with management to proactively address employee relations challenges.
  • Oversee performance evaluations and talent management processes; develop strategies for enhancing employee performance and retention.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and contractors, coordinating with various departments to ensure a seamless experience.
  • Manage the separation process for departing employees, conducting exit interviews to gather valuable feedback for leadership.
  • Support the ongoing development and management of the HR Information System (HRIS) and the HR Intranet.
  • Prepare monthly reports for leadership, utilizing HR metrics related to hiring, turnover, and employee engagement.
  • Coordinate payroll adjustments for employees across multiple regions.
  • Assist in the administration of employee benefits and retirement programs, including annual renewals and compliance reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Respond to HR-related inquiries and assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, with a strong focus on Employee Relations and Performance Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiar with HR/payroll systems.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and dependable.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Located in the Tri-state area or the greater Chicago area.
Compensation

Base Salary Range: $110,000 to $130,000, plus bonus, based on skills, experience, and location.
