Exciting opportunity to join a leading company in the spirits industry

Help shape and implement a sustainable strategy for on and off-premise channels in a key market. Take charge of managing the broker partnership and driving the attainment of our global goals. Set targets for on/off-premise and assess the return on investment. Support the State Manager in meeting sales targets and key performance indicators in the Southern OH markets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Enhance efficiency and effectiveness by aligning global spirits and broker operations.
  • Develop and execute category and brand plans while ensuring compliance with standards.
  • Foster an inclusive and accountable culture within internal and distributor teams.
  • Pursue volume growth opportunities through strategic placements and promotions.
  • Manage local programming and resources effectively.
  • Collaborate with broker leads to monitor progress and performance.
  • Hold broker principals responsible for financial objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with national account initiatives and programs.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activities to optimize strategies.
  • Execute on/off-premise events and provide recaps.
  • Conduct regular performance review sessions with teams.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers and influence business partnerships.
  • Deliver sales training and communication to broker sales teams.
  • Stay updated on laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
  • Manage budget and coach distributor sales teams.
  • Record and track account information accurately.
  • Leverage foresight to anticipate risks and develop contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with marketing managers on in-market activations.
  • Effectively communicate with all stakeholders in the value chain.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated planning and self-management skills.
  • Deep understanding of distribution, promotion, and sales techniques.
  • Previous sales experience, including marketing programs.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Prior experience with distributors and Food and Beverage Directors.
  • Preferred background in the spirits industry and leadership roles.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
