Role Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is a dynamic, persuasive, and solution-oriented sales professional responsible for promoting Stuppy Greenhouse Solutions & Services across the Northwest territory and other designated markets nationwide. This role encompasses the complete sales cycle, catering to both existing and prospective clients, while ensuring exceptional after-sale support and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve or surpass designated sales targets and revenue goals by engaging potential and existing clients through various channels including phone, email, and face-to-face interactions (cold/warm outreach, trade exhibitions, etc.) in commercial and educational sectors.
  • Utilize business insight and consultative selling techniques to identify client challenges and position Stuppy as the solution provider, enhancing their operations with innovative greenhouse solutions.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities through thorough research and networking.
  • Effectively communicate and demonstrate the Stuppy Greenhouse value proposition to potential clients.
  • Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships by showcasing Stuppy's value and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare detailed quotes, proposals, and specifications to address customer requirements.
  • Deliver compelling sales presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Assess the potential value of sales opportunities and meet gross sales and margin objectives.
  • Regularly update and maintain sales data, communication progress, and opportunity status within the CRM system.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals and facilitate the transition of new orders into operations.
  • Support project managers and customer service teams to ensure the successful delivery and installation of products and services.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in business development, preferably in greenhouse sales, horticulture, or technical sales.
  • Proven track record of managing a multi-million-dollar sales pipeline with average deal sizes ranging from $50k to $200k, and up to $1,000,000.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • In-depth understanding of the sales process and methodologies, while upholding Stuppy's values and integrity.
  • Experience with value-based selling to effectively manage sales processes and accurately forecast outcomes.
  • Familiarity with the territory is preferred, along with the ability to assess market share and sales opportunities.
  • Intermediate math skills and the ability to interpret technical documents and specifications.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport with clients.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional skills in communication, presentation, negotiation, organization, teamwork, and adherence to a structured sales process.
  • Demonstrated integrity, work ethic, and a genuine interest in fostering strong, trust-based relationships.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a commitment to going above and beyond.
  • Strategic planning abilities with a focus on consistent execution.
