Role Summary: This role entails overseeing the comprehensive agency relationship within the Enterprise, focusing on driving new business sales growth across Personal Lines and Commercial Lines. You will be accountable for meeting annual sales targets for your designated territory, utilizing digital communication tools such as teleconferencing and webinars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage multi-line sales opportunities with appointed agents through proactive outreach, including phone calls and virtual meetings.
- Collaborate with Field Territory Sales Managers to enhance agency relationships and provide necessary resources and sales support.
- Promote and support the objectives of each Profit Center (Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, and Life) while participating in team efforts for plan development and execution.
- Drive new business quote activity and results, ensuring agents are accountable for maintaining quality books of business.
- Assist in the onboarding and training of new agencies, providing comprehensive knowledge on products, procedures, and tools.
- Utilize CRM systems effectively, ensuring timely and detailed entries that adhere to established protocols.
- Conduct a required number of sales calls, employing a consultative sales approach to secure commitments and outline actionable plans.
- Analyze agency performance and implement strategies for improvement, holding agencies accountable for their results.
- Communicate the value proposition of the Enterprise across all lines of business and gather competitive intelligence.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in sales, demonstrating strong communication skills and a professional phone presence. A bachelor's degree and prior experience in the insurance sector are preferred, though equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered. Proficiency in CRM software and corporate productivity tools is essential, along with the ability to manage time effectively and adapt to flexible scheduling.
